Activating and Managing Applications in Empress Marketplace

Introduction

Introduction

The Empress Marketplace is a feature of the Empress Cloud platform that allows businesses to publish and manage their own applications. This feature enhances the platform’s versatility, enabling businesses to customize their experience and offer their solutions to other users.

This user-friendly guide will guide you through the process of activating your Developer account, adding an application to the marketplace, and managing your application’s profile.

Activating Your Developer Account

  1. Navigate to your Empress Cloud dashboard and click on the settings page.
  2. Go to the Profile tab and click on the Become a Publisher button. This will activate your Marketplace Developer account.
  3. Once activated, a new Marketplace tab will appear on your dashboard.

Adding an Application to the Marketplace

  1. On the Marketplace tab, click on the + Add App button.
  2. Select the application you want to add from the list of your owned applications.
  3. Alternatively, click on the Add from GitHub link to authorize and add an application from your GitHub account. Be sure to select the correct version of Empress that your application is compatible with.

Once you’ve added an application, it will initially be in a Draft state. It will only be published to the marketplace after it has been approved by our team.

Managing Your Application’s Profile

  1. Go to the Overview tab on the Marketplace Application page.
  2. Here, you can edit all application-related details such as the application image, descriptions, links, and more.

Before your application can be published, you need to provide specific details via your application overview page.

Conclusion

The Empress Marketplace is a powerful feature that allows businesses to expand their reach and customize their experience on the Empress Cloud platform. By activating your Developer account, adding an application, and managing your application’s profile, you can take full advantage of this feature.
