Unpacking the Key Features of Email Groups

Importing Email IDs from Transactions

One of the standout features of Empress’s Email Group is the ability to import email IDs from existing transactions. To do this:

  1. Click on ‘Action’ > ‘Import Subscribers’.
  2. Choose a transaction type (like ‘Lead’).
  3. Select ‘Import’.

The system will then automatically add all the email IDs tied to the chosen transaction type to your group.

Utilizing Email Templates

Empress also allows for the use of custom email templates. You can set up specific templates for both confirmation and welcome emails.

Confirmation Email Template: This replaces the default template for newsletter subscriptions. It’s the email that is sent when someone subscribes to your Email Group through your website.

Welcome Email Template: This email is sent whenever a subscriber is added to an email group, after they’ve confirmed their subscription.

Both templates can be set up in the Email Group settings.

The Business Impact of Email Groups

The Email Group feature in Empress provides an efficient way to manage your subscribers and ensure your communications are targeted and effective. By grouping subscribers based on their interests, location, or relationship to your business, you can ensure that your messages are relevant and engaging. This can lead to improved response rates, increased customer engagement, and ultimately, better business outcomes.
