Accessing the Item Group Feature

To access the Item Group feature, follow the path:

Home > Stock > Items and Pricing > Item Group

Creating an Item Group

Follow these simple steps to create a new Item Group:

  1. Navigate to the Item Group list and click on New.
  2. Choose a group node where you wish to create the new Item Group. By default, the root is ‘All Item Groups’.
  3. Click on ‘Add Child’ or the New button.
  4. If you want this child to be a category/group node, tick on the Group Node option.
  5. Click on Create New.

Deleting an Item Group

If there’s an Item Group you no longer need, you can easily delete it:

  1. Select the Item Group you wish to delete.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Confirm by clicking Yes.

Features of the Item Group

The Item Group feature offers a range of settings to customize and manage your inventory. To access these options, select an Item Group and click on Edit.

Changing Parent Item Group

Under General Settings, you can modify the parent Item Group of an item by selecting a different one.

Setting Defaults
