Getting Started

Before you start using the Attendance Request feature, ensure that an Employee record has been created for the employee in question.

How to Create an Attendance Request

To create an Attendance Request, follow these easy steps:

  1. Go to the Attendance Request list and click on New.
  2. Select the Employee who is submitting the Attendance Request.
  3. Choose the From Date and To Date for the Attendance Request.
  4. Pick a Reason for the request and provide an Explanation (if necessary).
  5. Click on Save and then Submit to finalize the request.

Tip: If you’re submitting a half-day attendance, simply check the ‘Half Day’ box and provide the relevant date.

Once the request is submitted, Attendance documents are automatically created for the specified dates.

Exploring the Features

Updating an Existing Attendance Record

If an employee has been incorrectly marked as Absent, they can rectify this by raising a request through the Attendance Request feature. Once the request is submitted, the Attendance record is automatically updated.

Requesting Attendance in Bulk

Employees can also submit attendance for an entire week or month in one go. The system will automatically skip holidays or leave days. Any attendance warnings will be displayed on the request dashboard.
