Empress Letter Head: Enhancing Brand Consistency in Documents

Introduction

In the business world, first impressions count. Your company’s documents should reflect the professionalism and quality you bring to the table. Empress understands this, and to help you make a great impression, we provide the Letter Head feature.

A Letter Head typically includes your company’s name, logo, and address, which appear at the head of your documents. With Empress, you can set these details as the Header and Footer across all your business documents – think Sales Orders, Sales Invoices, Salary Slips, Purchase Orders, and more.

The Letter Head feature in Empress helps you create a consistent, professional image that reinforces your brand identity across all your documentation.

Accessing the Letter Head

Creating a Letter Head

Creating a Letter Head in Empress is easy. Here’s your step-by-step guide:

  1. Start by navigating to the Letter Head list and clicking on New.

  2. Now, give your Letter Head a unique name. If you operate from different office locations, you might want to create separate Letter Heads accordingly.

  3. Next, decide whether you want your Letter Head to be image-based or HTML-based.

  4. Time to structure your Letter Head. Use the following elements to do so:

    • Logo Image: Simply click on the Attach button to add an image. Once the image is in place, the HTML for it will be generated automatically.
    • Additional Information: Include any other details you deem necessary, like your Address or Tax ID.

If you want to set this as your default Letter Head, make sure you check the box labeled “Default Letter Head”.

  5. Once you’ve entered all the necessary details in the Header and Footer sections, save your new Letter Head.

If you choose to base your Letter Head on HTML, you’ll have more room for customization.

Please note that the footer will only be visible when viewing the document’s print in PDF format. It won’t appear in the HTML-based print preview.

Conclusion

By following these steps, you can create and customize Letter Heads that perfectly represent your company’s brand and professionalism. With the Letter Head feature, your documents will always make a great impression, reinforcing your brand identity across all your business operations.
