What is the Supplier Scorecard?
The Supplier Scorecard is a feature in Empress that allows you to track and evaluate the performance of your suppliers. This feature enables you to assign scores to suppliers based on various criteria such as quality, delivery time, price, and more. By doing so, you can identify which suppliers are performing well and which ones need improvement.
How to Use the Supplier Scorecard

Viewing the Supplier Scorecard: To view the Supplier Scorecard, navigate to the ‘Buying’ module in Empress and select the ‘Supplier Scorecard’ option.

Adding a new Supplier Scorecard: To add a new scorecard, click on the ‘New’ button. You will need to select the supplier you wish to evaluate and define the period for evaluation (Per Week, Per Month, Per Year).

Defining Evaluation Criteria: In the ‘Criteria Setup’ section, you can define the criteria based on which the supplier will be evaluated. Click on ‘Load All Criteria’ to load the standard criteria, or you can add your own.

Scoring Suppliers: Once the evaluation period is over, Empress will automatically calculate the supplier’s score based on the criteria you defined.

Tracking Supplier Score: The ‘Scoring Standings’ table will track the supplier’s score over time, giving you a clear overview of their performance.

Setting Actions based on Score: You can set actions based on the supplier’s score. For example, you can choose to warn for new Request for Quotations (RFQs) or Purchase Orders (POs) if the supplier’s score is below a certain threshold.
