Mastering Customer Engagement with Empress' Loyalty Point Entry

Feature Overview

The Loyalty Point Entry feature allows you to:

  1. Track loyalty points for each customer based on their purchases.
  2. Determine the expiry date for each set of points.
  3. Redeem points against purchases.
  4. Sort and view loyalty point entries by various parameters such as customer, date, and loyalty points.

How to Use the Loyalty Point Entry Feature

Here’s how you can use this feature in your everyday business operations:

Viewing Loyalty Point Entries

  1. Navigate to the Accounts module in the Empress dashboard.
  2. Select Loyalty Point Entry from the options.
  3. You will see a list of all loyalty point entries. You can sort this list by Customer, Loyalty Points, or Expiry Date.

Creating a New Loyalty Point Entry

  1. In the Loyalty Point Entry section, click on Create New.
  2. Fill in the necessary details, such as Loyalty Program, Customer, Loyalty Points, Purchase Amount, Expiry Date, Posting Date, and Company.
  3. Once done, click on Save.

Editing a Loyalty Point Entry

  1. Select the loyalty point entry you want to edit.
  2. Click on Edit and make the necessary changes.
  3. Click on Save.

Redeeming Loyalty Points

  1. In the Loyalty Point Entry section, select the entry where points need to be redeemed.
  2. In the Redeem Against field, select the purchase against which the points are being redeemed.
  3. Click on Redeem Points and then Save.

User Roles and Permissions

There are three user roles with permissions to access the Loyalty Point Entry feature:

  1. Auditor: Can view and export loyalty point entries.
  2. Accounts Manager: Can create, edit, and redeem loyalty points.
  3. Accounts User: Has read-only access to the loyalty point entries.
