Mastering Empress: Manage Billing and Monitor Usage Effortlessly

Introduction

If you’re using Empress for your business, you’ll need a clear understanding of how to manage your billing and monitor usage. You might also want to update your payment methods depending on your business’ financial requirements. This guide will guide you through these processes in a user-friendly manner.

Introduction

Empress calculates your account balance over the course of each calendar month, based on the usage of your sites. For our Indian customers, we also apply GST taxes. On the last day of every month, we invoice and charge your account’s default payment method for the month’s usage. This automation ensures a seamless billing process, so you can focus more on your business.

Checking Your Current Month’s Usage

The first feature we’ll look at is Current Month’s Usage. Here’s how you can use it:

  1. Go to the Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Billing. Here, you’ll find the usage amount to date.
  3. This amount updates daily, based on the number of Active sites you have.

This feature allows you to monitor your running usage amount, helping you keep track of your expenditure and strategize your usage accordingly.

Managing Your Payment Methods

The next feature is Managing Cards, which allows you to add and update payment methods. Here’s how to use it:

  1. Go to the Payment Methods section in the Billing Tab.
  2. Click on Add Payment Method.
  3. Enter your billing address and card details.

The card you add will automatically become the default payment method for your account.

This feature offers flexibility in managing your payment methods, facilitating smooth transactions and enabling you to use the card that suits your current business needs.

Conclusion

With Empress, managing your billing, monitoring usage, and updating payment methods is a breeze.
