Mastering Empress' Payment Entry Reference Feature

How to Use Payment Entry Reference

Viewing Payment Entry References

  1. Navigate to the Accounts module.
  2. Click on Payment Entry Reference.
  3. Here, you will see a list of all your payment entry references, including details such as the total amount, outstanding amount, and allocated amount.

Editing Payment Entry References

  1. To edit a payment entry reference, click on the corresponding Name in the list.
  2. In the edit view, you can adjust the Allocated Amount field as necessary.

Sorting Payment Entry References

  1. You can sort your payment entry references by clicking on the Sort button.
  2. Choose to sort by Modified to see the most recently updated entries first, or select another field from the drop-down menu.

Tracking Information

With the Payment Entry Reference feature, you can also track:

  • Due Date: The scheduled date for payment.
  • Supplier Invoice No: The number of the supplier’s invoice.
  • Exchange Rate: The exchange rate applicable to the transaction, if it involves foreign currency.

User Roles and Permissions

The Payment Entry Reference feature is accessible to users with Accounts permissions. However, editing capabilities may be limited based on the user’s role and specific permissions set by the administrator.
