How to Use the Price List Feature

Viewing Price Lists

  1. Navigate to the Price List section in the Empress interface.
  2. Here, you’ll find a list of all your existing price lists.

Creating a New Price List

  1. Click on the New button to create a new price list.
  2. Fill in the Price List Name and select the Currency from the dropdown list.
  3. Tick the Buying checkbox if this price list is for purchasing products, or the Selling checkbox if it’s for selling.
  4. If the price list is not dependent on the unit of measure (UOM), tick the Price Not UOM Dependent checkbox.
  5. Under Applicable for Countries, you can specify the countries where this price list applies.

Editing an Existing Price List

  1. Select the price list you want to modify.
  2. Click the Edit button.
  3. Make your changes and click Save.

User Roles and Permissions

Different roles have different permissions for the Price List feature:

  • Sales User: Can view and report on price lists, but cannot create, delete, or edit them.
  • Sales Master Manager: Can create, view, report, delete, and edit price lists. Also, they can export data and share price lists.
  • Purchase User: Can view and report on price lists, but cannot create, delete, or edit them.
  • Purchase Master Manager: Can create, view, report, delete, and edit price lists and share price lists.
