To start the process, you need to create a Stock Entry that moves materials to the manufacturing stage.

  2. Set the Purpose field to Material Transfer to Manufacture.

Step 2: Create a Stock Entry for Manufacturing

Next, you’ll create another Stock Entry to represent the actual manufacturing process.

  1. Navigate back to the Stock Entry module.
  2. Change the Purpose field to Manufacture.
  3. Enter the item you’re manufacturing in the Target Warehouse field.
  4. For each raw material used, enter its origin in the Source Warehouse field.

While performing these operations, you’ll notice color-coded dots:

  • Blue Dot: Represents an item being received, usually the finished product.
  • Orange Dot: Denotes an item being issued, typically the raw materials used up.

User Roles and Permissions
