Key Features

The SMS Center Feature provides several options to tailor your messaging. These include:

  • Send To: This option allows you to select the group you wish to send an SMS to. You can choose from all contacts, customers, suppliers, sales partners, open leads, active employees, or sales people.

  • Message: Input the text of your SMS here. If your message exceeds 160 characters, it will be split into multiple messages.

  • Total Characters and Total Messages: These fields auto-calculate the number of characters in your message and the number of SMS messages that will be sent out.

  • Send SMS: Click this button to send out your messages.

How to Use

  1. Navigate to the SMS Center within your Empress dashboard.
  2. Under the Send To dropdown, select the group you want to send your SMS to.
  3. Depending on your selection in step 2, you may need to select a specific customer, supplier, sales partner, department, or branch.
  4. Click the Create Receiver List button to generate your list of recipients.
  5. In the Message field, input the text you want to send. The Total Characters and Total Message(s) fields will update automatically.
  6. Once you are satisfied with your message and recipient list, click the Send SMS button.

User Roles and Permissions

Access to the SMS Center is controlled by user roles and permissions. For instance, the “System Manager” role has full access to create and send SMS messages. If you require access to this feature, please contact your Empress administrator.
