To access a Price List in Empress, follow this simple navigation:

Using Price Lists

Empress Price Lists are used when creating Item Prices to track the selling or buying price of an item. Here’s how to use them effectively:

  • Assign specific countries to a Price List as needed.
  • Disable a specific Price List by unticking the ‘Enabled’ checkbox. Once disabled, the Price List will not be available for selection in Sales and Purchase transactions.
  • Utilize the Price Not UOM Dependent checkbox to adjust pricing based on units of measure. For example, if you buy tomatoes by the box and sell them by the kilo, you can ensure accurate pricing for both buying and selling scenarios by using this feature.
  • Empress automatically creates Standard Buying and Selling Price Lists for your convenience.

Note: You can assign a specific Price List to a customer, resulting in automatic selection of that list for transactions involving that customer. This ensures consistent, accurate pricing, saving you time and reducing the risk of errors.
