Maximizing Efficiency with Empress Manufacturing Reports

Introduction

Empress Manufacturing includes a powerful feature called Manufacturing Reports. This feature provides a variety of detailed reports that can help you monitor the status of Work Orders, scrutinize production data, and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) records. These reports are presented in both text and visual formats, giving you the critical insights you need to streamline your processes and enhance production efficiency.

How to Access Manufacturing Reports

Accessing these reports is straightforward. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Home.
  2. Click on Manufacturing.
  3. Choose Reports.

Overview of Different Reports

Open Work Orders Report

The Open Work Orders report allows you to view Work Orders that are still awaiting production. This helps you to stay on top of upcoming production tasks.

Work in Progress (WIP) Report

The WIP Report provides live updates on Work Orders that are currently under production. If a Work Order appears in this report, it means it is actively being processed.

Issued Items Against Work Order Report

This report records all items that have been allocated to a Work Order and transferred to the Work in Progress Warehouse. This helps you to keep track of resources used in each Work Order.

Completed Work Orders Report

The Completed Work Orders report showcases all Work Orders that have been fully executed and all quantities within them have been manufactured. This helps you to monitor the completion of production tasks.

Production Analytics Report

The Production Analytics report offers a comprehensive overview of all Work Orders, giving you valuable insights that can help improve your manufacturing process.

BOM Search Report

The BOM Search report enables you to search for specific BOMs based on the raw materials used in them. This is especially useful if you have many BOMs to manage.

BOM Stock Report

The BOM Stock Report shows the quantity of raw materials available in your Warehouses for a selected BOM. Items with insufficient quantities are marked in red, while items with sufficient quantities to manufacture the BOM item are highlighted in green.

Setting a Chart

You can set a chart in any of these reports to visualize your data. To do this:

  1. Look for the Set Chart button.
  2. Click on it.
