The Quality Meeting Minutes feature in Empress is a powerful tool that allows business users to record, manage and track minutes from quality related meetings in a simple and efficient way. This feature is part of the Quality Management module and is designed to support your business in maintaining a high level of quality assurance and control.
Overview
In business operations, keeping track of meeting discussions and decisions is crucial for follow-ups and action steps. The Quality Meeting Minutes feature allows you to:
- Create and edit minutes
- Categorize minutes based on document type
- Link related documents
- View and sort minutes chronologically
Viewing and Editing Minutes
- On the main Empress dashboard, navigate to the Quality Management module.
- Within the module, select Quality Meeting Minutes.
- Here, you will see a list of all recorded meeting minutes. Click on any entry to view details.
- To edit, click the Edit button found at the top right of the detail view. Make necessary changes and click Save.
Creating New Minutes
- In the Quality Meeting Minutes view, click the Create New button.
- Fill out the Document Type (Quality Review, Quality Action, Quality Feedback) and enter the Minute details.
- If relevant, link a Document Name. This field dynamically links to the document type you’ve selected.
- Click Save to record the minute.
Sorting and Tracking Information
The Quality Meeting Minutes feature also allows you to sort your minutes. By default, the minutes are sorted by the last modified date, in descending order. This allows you to see the most recent minutes first.
To change the sorting order, click the Sort button and select your preferred sorting method.
User Roles and Permissions
Access to the Quality Meeting Minutes feature can be managed through Empress’s user roles and permissions settings. Depending on your role and granted permissions, you may have the ability to view, create, edit, or delete entries.
