  3. The Timesheet details will automatically appear in the Sales Invoice.
  4. The posting date and time will be set to the current time, but can be edited by checking the box below the ‘Posting Time’ field.

  6. When everything looks good, hit ‘Save’ and then ‘Submit’ the invoice.

To fill in Sales Invoice details automatically, click on the Get items from button. This will allow you to pull in details from a Sales Order, Delivery Note, or a Quotation. Customer details, Currency and Price List, and Items will automatically populate.

Additional Features

When creating a Sales Invoice from a Timesheet, you can also:

  • Use Accounting Dimensions to tag transactions to a specific Territory, Branch, Project, etc. This can help you to view accounting statements separately based on the selected criteria.
  • Add more Timesheets to the Invoice by clicking on ‘Add Row’ in the Time Sheet List section.

All other details can be added as you would in a regular Sales Invoice.

After Submission

Once you’ve submitted the Sales Invoice, the ‘Total Billed Hours’, ‘Total Billed Amount’ and ‘% Amount Billed’ fields in the Timesheet will update automatically.
