What You’ll Need Beforehand

Before creating a Maintenance Visit, ensure you have the following:

  • Customer Information: The details of the customer receiving the maintenance visit.
  • Item Information: The specifics of the item that needs maintenance.

How to Create a Maintenance Visit

Creating a Maintenance Visit is a straightforward process:

  1. Go to the Maintenance Visit list and select New.
  2. The system will automatically record the current date and time, but you can edit this if needed.
  3. Choose the Customer receiving the maintenance service.
  4. Define the type of Maintenance: Scheduled, Unscheduled, or Breakdown.
  5. Set the Completion Status to either ‘Partially Completed’ or ‘Fully Completed’.
  6. Identify the Item Code and Serial Number of the item undergoing maintenance.
  7. Input a Description of the maintenance, choose the Sales Person performing the maintenance, and detail the work done.
  8. Finally, hit Save.

  • Customer Feedback: Empress provides a space for recording any feedback given by the customer regarding the Maintenance Visit.
  • The platform will automatically collect the following information from the Customer form:
    • Customer Address
    • Contact Person
    • Territory
    • Customer Group
