Accessing the Work Order Feature

To access the Work Order feature:

  1. Sign in to your Empress account.
  2. Navigate to the Manufacturing module from the dashboard.
  3. Click on the Work Order option under the Onboarding section.

Creating Your First Work Order

Creating a Work Order is simple and straightforward:

  1. Click on the Create Entry button to start a new Work Order.
  2. Fill in the required fields with the appropriate information:
    • Production Item: The item to be manufactured.
    • BOM: The Bill of Materials for the production item.
    • Quantity: The number of units to be manufactured.
    • Operations: The processes involved in manufacturing the item.
  3. After filling out the details, click on the Save button to create the Work Order.

Viewing and Editing a Work Order

All the Work Orders are listed in a table where you can sort them based on the Production Item, BOM, Quantity, Status, etc. By clicking on a particular Work Order, you can track the status of that order, including the issue of raw materials and the progress at each workstation.
