The Production Plan Item feature is a part of Empress’s Manufacturing module. It allows you to create and manage individual items within your overall production plan. This includes a variety of fields such as item code, planned quantity, warehouse, pending quantity, ordered quantity, and others, providing a comprehensive overview of your production plan details.
Viewing and Sorting Production Plan Items
To view your production plan items:
- Navigate to the Manufacturing module.
- Click on Production Plan Item. You will see a list of all your production plan items.
You can sort this list based on different parameters like item code, planned start date, or quantity. Simply click on the column header you want to sort by.
Editing Production Plan Items
To edit a production plan item, select the item you want to edit from the list and update the fields as needed. This could include updating the planned quantity, changing the item code, or updating the warehouse. Remember to save your changes when you’re done!
Tracking Production Plan Items
The Production Plan Item feature lets you track the status of your production plan items. The “Pending Qty” and “Produced Qty” fields provide real-time updates on quantity status.
For instance, if you have a planned quantity of 100 items and you’ve produced 50, your “Pending Qty” would show 50, and your “Produced Qty” would show 50.
User Roles and Permissions
Empress provides specific roles and permissions to ensure that only authorized personnel can view and edit production plan items. You can set these permissions under the “Permissions” tab in the “Production Plan Item” settings.
