Introduction to Quality Review Feature
The Quality Review feature is a critical component of the Empress suite, specifically designed to streamline your business’s quality management processes. It allows you to conduct, track and manage reviews of different quality goals within your organization, driving improvements in your products, services and processes.
The primary functions of the Quality Review feature include:
- Setting up and tracking quality goals: You can specify quality goals for different aspects of your business, and track their status.
- Conducting quality reviews: You can perform reviews against your quality goals, marking them as Open, Passed, or Failed.
- Documenting review findings: You can record additional information and notes related to each review.
Using the Quality Review Feature
Viewing Quality Reviews
To view existing quality reviews:
- Navigate to the Quality Management module in the Empress user interface.
- Click on Quality Review. This will display a list of all existing quality reviews.
Creating a New Quality Review
To set up a new quality review:
- Click on the New button in the Quality Review interface.
- Enter the Goal for the quality review. This should be a quality goal previously defined in the Quality Goals section.
- The Procedure related to the goal will be automatically populated.
- Under the Review section, add specific review objectives.
- Include any Additional Information or Notes relevant to the review.
- Click Save to create the review.
Editing and Sorting Quality Reviews
To edit an existing review, simply click on it from the list, make the necessary changes, and click Save.
You can sort reviews based on the Modified date by clicking on the column header. By default, reviews are sorted in descending order of modification date.
User Roles and Permissions
Different roles have varying levels of access to the Quality Review feature:
- System Manager: Full access to create, read, edit, delete, print, export, and share quality reviews.
- Desk User: Full access to create, read, edit, delete, print, export, and share quality reviews.
- Quality Manager: Full access to create, read, edit, delete, print, export, and share quality reviews.
