The Job Opening feature in Empress helps you manage all current vacancies within your organization. Instead of manually tracking and sorting through potential positions, Empress automates this process in line with the staffing plans you’ve set. This means you can focus more on selecting the right candidate and less on administrative tasks.

Getting Started

Before you can start creating job openings, make sure you have prepared the following:

  • A Staffing Plan that outlines the number of positions you intend to fill.
  • The relevant Department information.

To access the Job Opening feature, follow this path:

How to Create a Job Opening

Creating a job opening in Empress is an easy and straightforward process:

  1. Go to the Job Opening list and click on New.
  2. Type in the Job Title.
  3. Choose the correct Designation and Department. The system will automatically fetch the associated Staffing Plan and Planned Number of Positions based on your selection.
  4. Click Save.

Once you’ve saved the job opening, you can immediately create a new Job Applicant from the dashboard.

Note: Each job opening has a status which can be set to Open/Closed. Remember, you won’t be able to create a Job Applicant for a Job Opening that is Closed.

Additional Features: Job Portal

Empress also offers the ability to publish your job openings directly to your company’s Job Portal. Just enable the ‘Publish on website’ option to make the job opening visible to potential applicants on your website.

With Empress, you can also plan your recruitment at a group company level. The system will restrict the number of job openings you can create for a given designation, based on your staffing plan. To learn more about how to set this up, please refer to the Staffing Plan guide in our documentation.
