Overview
As a Systems Designer, you’ll be at the forefront of optimizing and enhancing the community’s platforms and systems. Your expertise will enable a seamless experience for members, helping to operationalize our mission and values effectively.
Key Objectives
- Design, develop, and implement systems that align with the community’s educational and engagement goals.
- Continuously evaluate and iterate on existing systems for optimal performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed specifications and architecture for systems that the community uses for engagement, education, and collaboration.
- Work closely with Educational Technologists, Enablement Managers, and other roles to ensure systems are aligned with community objectives.
- Participate in testing, feedback loops, and quality assurance processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in systems design, development, or architecture is a plus.
- A deep understanding of the community’s goals and values to ensure alignment in all designs.
Collaboration & Interaction
- Collaborate with Curriculum Designers to ensure educational content is easily accessible and interactive.
- Consult with Data and Analytics Leads to make data-driven design decisions.
Performance Metrics
- User experience and ease-of-use as determined through feedback.
- System uptime, speed, and other performance indicators.
- Alignment with the community’s educational and engagement goals, as measured through KPIs.
